I must confess, I am just here to bitch. It seems like that is what I mostly do in this blog. I'm pretty stoic in general and people have no idea how deep these still waters run. But I bitch almost incessantly in this journal.
Here's today's gripe: Let's call one unit of my work "a case". On Tuesdays through Fridays I might have 4 cases a day on average for my main assignment and then I cover for people who are out for some reason and may have to do their cases for the day as well. The work on the front end of the case is less complicated and time consuming than closing a case.
So today, I have 18 cases to close. That is more than 1 day's worth of work. My "supervisor" who is the formerly liked boss's minion and pet and who really should not be supervising anyone since she knows not her ass from a hole in the ground, has asked me to "help out" with another girl's beginning cases. That girl has 8 cases to start... while I have 18 cases to close. Does that seem right? If you guessed Hell Naw, you are correct.
