Is my back shaped like the underside of a bus? I guess it was inevitable due to all the time I spend under the bus. Thanks friendly co-worker who dropped the ball on your job and then used me as an excuse to get out of it and then your boss told my boss since ya know... it was my fault and all. Wink, wink.
Gotta love it.
This co-worker whom I trained, I might add, and whom has enjoyed my assistance and protection when the powers that be were gunning for her also spiced it up by reporting that she hasn't been getting enough communication from me lately. I sent her 10 emails this week and it's only Wednesday! A couple of which were explaining new compliance changes that are coming down. I didn't even have to share that info with her. Dubya Tee Eff?
So right at the beginning of the work day this morning I get this call from my supervisor about all this, up outta nowhere. One of these days I am going to just go postal. I don't think this friendly co-worker expected it to get back to me. I think she was just trying to get off the hot seat and didn't think I would ever know so she said I didn't do something I was supposed to do when in reality, the ball was in her court and her action was the only next step that could happen in the situation. She is a very quiet and timid person. I want to call her, but I am very direct and may be lacking a filter or two, so I think I should wait till I'm less likely to make her cry. LOL I mean, I am not really mad at her, because I know what happened. But I know me and I'm likely to come right out with some unpleasant truths.
I'm the person in the room who points out that the Emperor is buck ass nekkid.
